What is BASE Method?


BASE Method is a beat-based, music-driven, strengthening and sculpting sweat party.Harnessing the power of the music and the energy of a slightly cray trainer, you will both challenge your body and clear your mind. Every class offers different bases to individually scale the intensity of the workout and tailor the movements to what your body craves that day. We all have a place to start. Where you go from there is up to you. Whether you are new to the fitness game or looking to move with more intention to connect and listen to your body as you strengthen, sculpt and tone, - BASE Method offers workouts accessible to all.




What does the training involve?


Designed with a functional, strength training foundation- BASE Method uses the formula of rocking the beat + using lighter weights and/or simple body weight + hitting a high repetitions to ensure a total body burn out. These signature components of endurance training are proven to increase muscular stamina as you tone, sculpt and strengthen. Best part? We have fun while we sweat. Promise.




What are BASE levels and how do they change?


BASE is programmed thoughfully, designed with intentional opportunities to advance or elevate your movement or movement pattern. This in turn allows you to either increase the intensity of the work or to decelerate and/or dial back as needed. This also allows for you to truly tap into how your body feels on a given day. Creating the space for you to listen before crushing. BASE intensity levels increase by: - Adding weight - Adding resistance - Adding compound movement and/or movement pattern - Changing plane of motion - Changing tempo of movement Remember, we all have a place to start. Where you go from there is up to you.




What equipment is needed?


While equipment is not necessary to rock this workout, adding these pieces elevates the game: - Light-Medium Free Weights and/or Dumbbells (Think 1lb-8lb weights) BASE Hack: Soup cans, bottles of vino, jug of laundry detergent, etc. - Small looped Miniband - Yoga Block/Pilates Ball BASE Hack: Small throw pillow - Gliders/Sliders BASE Hack: Paper plates and/or hand towels depending on workout surface.

How long are the workouts?


The BASE Method On Demand workouts range from 10-30 minutes in length. Each designed as a targeted and specific muscle block burnout. This allows you to mix and match and burn and sweat and get the job done. You got 20m? I got you. Full 60m for a total body burn? Wicked. Pair lower body + upper body + a core finisher and call it a fine day.
